Pink Alliance

A nonprofit organization

Pink Alliance serves as the Brazos Valley's advocate for breast health and cancer support by providing reliable, informative resources, inspiring hope through individual and group support and offering access to medical treatments for those with limited means. Pink Alliance was established in 2007 by five local breast cancer survivors to assist those newly diagnosed with breast cancer and to respond to the needs of the community regarding breast health and cancer awareness, detection, and treatment.

BREAST CANCER PATIENT SERVICES
During 2024, Pink Alliance provided 81 individuals including 1 male and 80 female patients with over $128,000 in direct financial support for patient services [e.g., high insurance deductibles, co-payments, mammograms, biopsies, chemotherapy treatments, lymphedema supplies, etc.]. During the first 7 months of 2025, Pink Alliance has expended over $95,000 in direct financial support for patient services. Over the past 9 years, Pink Alliance has provided over $810,000 in financial support for low-income breast cancer patients.

BREAST CANCER SUPPORT GROUP
Pink Alliance hosts the only local community support group for breast cancer patients and survivors. The Support Group provides a safe, inviting environment that allows breast cancer patients and survivors to share feelings and concerns, and receive emotional support through small group discussion. During 2024, Pink Alliance board members provided 500+ hours of group support and outreach to patients and survivors.

9 board members, representing over 100 years of breast cancer survivorship, share their time and talents as they volunteer their services to the community.
