Pittsburgh Sings! Festival of Choirs
October 30, 2016

Gather with Pittsburgh Concert Chorale and student choirs from the greater Pittsburgh region for an afternoon of music at Carnegie Music Hall. Now in its fifth year, Festival of Choirs is PCC's signature educational and outreach program. Come celebrate choral music and listen as each choir performs individually, then joins in a grand finale uniting over two hundred extraordinary voices in an unforgettable performance.

Sounds of the Season*
December 3, 4, 5, 2016
Ring in the holidays with Pittsburgh Concert Chorale! We will put you in the spirit with holiday classics, traditional carols, and popular favorites. You'll even get to sing carols with us!

Music of War, Music of Peace*
March 4 & 5, 2017
Join us as we explore musical settings that highlight the trials of war and the uplifting transcendence of peace. From the first notes of Richard Burchard's hauntingly beautiful "O vos
omnes," to Jeffrey Van's "A Procession Winding Around Me" (a powerful setting of Walt Whitman texts for chorus and guitar), to the final "Dona nobis pacem" of Franz Joseph Haydn's
triumphant "Mass in Time of War ', this concert will strike a chord deep within you.

Big Band is Back!*
May 7 & 8, 2017
Back by popular demand! The Jazz Conspiracy Swingtet joins Pittsburgh Concert Chorale in a salute to the Big Band Era. Enjoy hits from Greatest Generation greats like Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Jimmy Dorsey, Les Brown, and more. Come find out why it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing!

*All performances take place at Ingomar United Methodist Church and Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church. Check out our website for more details.
