The Pittsburgh New Works Festival, Inc. is a non-profit organization with a mission of encouraging and supporting the writing and production of original one-act plays. For 20 plus years, PNWF has served as an umbrella organization, pooling the talents and rich resources of western Pennsylvania's emerging theater community and playwrights from across North America in a series of collaborative activities. Our main project is the Festival. Performed yearly over 6 weeks. With 2 weeks of staged readings and 4 weeks of fully produced one acts. 3 original works each week.
