Pleasant Ridge Manor Friends Forever

Imagine... Gladys is an eighty-five-year-old lady who recently had to move to long-term care. She cherished her time in the house where she lovingly raised her children, but a catastrophic health issue unexpectedly placed her in the hospital. Now, she needs long-term care. Jerry is a seventy-eight-year-old gentleman who recently underwent a hip replacement and has come to our facility for rehabilitation. Both individuals are receiving excellent care, but our commitment goes beyond that. 

Our Friends Forever Volunteers are here to support Gladys, Jerry, and many others like them as they adjust to this new chapter in their lives. These caring volunteers are a vital part of our facility, providing the extra attention that makes a difference—helping residents get to and from therapy, or accompanying them during outings to the store. They also raise funds for both big and small renovation projects, such as the complete overhaul of our PT gym that motivates Jerry to work hard in his recovery, or adorning the resident lounge with nice, comfortable furniture so Gladys can relax and enjoy her favorite shows, just like she did in her own living room. 

We are dedicated to continuing this important work, ensuring that our residents feel comfortable and empowered to thrive in our facility. They truly deserve it.
