Friends and neighbors in the Valley! Imagine our beloved library, a cornerstone of North Conway Village, blossoming into an even more inviting and vibrant space for all. We have a wonderful vision to enhance the library grounds, transforming them into a place of beauty, sustainability, and connection.
We dream of lush plantings that will not only delight the eye but also create a haven for pollinators and enhance our local ecosystem. Picture comfortable seating areas nestled amongst the greenery, offering peaceful spots to read, reflect, and connect with others. Envision a charming brick pathway winding through the grounds, welcoming visitors and adding timeless appeal.
But this vision requires your support. We are launching a fundraising campaign to make these enhancements a reality and to implement sustainable, environmentally friendly maintenance practices that will benefit our community for years to come. Your generous contribution, no matter the size, will directly contribute to:
The Pope Memorial Library is more than just books; it's a vital hub for learning, growth, and community engagement. By contributing to this beautification project, you are investing in a space that enriches the lives of all who visit.
Please consider making a donation today and help us cultivate a more beautiful, sustainable, and connected future for our library and our village. Every seed of generosity will help our vision blossom!

The North Conway Public Library, now the Pope Memorial Library, is Mount Washington Valley's Free Community Library
Located in North Conway Village, the Pope Memorial Library is a privately funded library which is free and open to the public.
We look and act like a public library but we receive no public funding: no money from the town, state, or federal government. We must raise 100% of our operating funds every year.
Major sources of income are donations, fundraisers, and bequests.
The library is large enough to offer its patrons a broad selection, and small enough to respond to the individual reading needs and preferences of its users.
