Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania's mission is to provide high-quality reproductive health care services, comprehensive sexuality education and strategic advocacy. Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania believes in the fundamental right of individuals to manage their fertility and their sexual and reproductive health without regard to income, marital status, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, national origin, or residence.

Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania is dedicated to providing comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care, education, and advocacy throughout our region. Our mission is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to quality health care and the freedom to make informed decisions about their bodies and futures.

PPWP unequivocally believes in and stands by all individuals' right to self determination and bodily autonomy. Every day, patients look to us to provide high-quality, non-judgmental, and accessible health care services, including STI testing & treatment, birth control, emergency contraception, life-saving cancer screenings, PrEP, gender-affirming hormone therapy, pregnancy testing, gynecological care, family planning, abortion, and much more!

PPWP provides health care services at five locations and via telehealth: Bridgeville, downtown Pittsburgh (2), Greensburg, and Johnstown.

We will never stop working to provide our patients with the care they need, and our doors will always remain open to everyone in our shared communities. Together, we fight for all.

Testimonials

"They were so supportive and helpful when I had a breast cancer scare, and helped diagnose my PCOS. Will always recommend their care."

"The downtown Planned Parenthood is a godsend! We're fortunate to live in a city and a state that appreciates this kind of care and lets you choose a safe end to what is ultimately a medical situation."

"I loved going to Planned Parenthood. I think it was the first time in forever that I felt like I was being treated with respect as a patient when I went to have my IUD removed. It's the small things, like asking for consent to touch me and letting me insert the speculum, that made a world of difference."
