Prairie Song Rescue

Prairie Song Rescue is the ONLY non-profit animal sanctuary & rescue organization located in Park County, MT offering services to animals of every kind. Our purpose is to provide transport, relief, care & rehabilitation of abandoned, homeless and needy animals. We work predominantly with Montana creatures, many from tribal lands, although we do provide care to any animal species in need on a global scale in multiple countries. We are also passionate about education surrounding proper treatment & care of domestic animals & wildlife.

Prairie Song's entire mission is to place wonderful, healthy, fully vetted animals into their perfect forever homes. Period!

We are a two-person team, both raised locally on Trail Creek Rd, fully dedicated to the wellness & care of Montana animals. Our team has already helped over 50 Park County animals in 2025, from turtles to peafowl to meows and doggos. So many happy animals fully vetted & placed in incredible local homes!
