About Us:

The Pregnancy Support Center opened its doors in the fall of 1992 as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit. What began as the Top O’ Texas
Crisis Pregnancy Center has grown into the Pregnancy Support Center & Hope House Maternity Home.  Serving women, babies, and families for 33 years.

We are guided by a volunteer governing board and supported by dedicated staff, including an Executive Director,
administrative team, registered nurse (RN), and  Hope House staff - along with incredible volunteers who make daily ministry possible. 

What We Do:

Women facing unplanned pregnancies often feel overwhelmed and alone. We provide a safe place where they can make informed decisions, find hope, and receive life-changing support through:

• 
  Free Pregnancy Tests: This is often the first step in a woman's pregnancy journey. By offering this vital service, we are able to help connect moms with the prenatal care they need, leading to healthier pregnancies and better outcomes for both mom and baby, especially where access to doctors is limited.  

• 
  Free Ultrasounds: It is more than just a machine- it is a window into the miraculous gift of life. They say "a picture is worth a thousand words," and I have seen firsthand the powerful bond that happens between a mother and her unborn child the moment she sees the first image. This program is made possible with the help of our Medical Director and administered by a dedicated and trained RN.

• 
  Housing through our maternity home: This is a safe haven for single, low-income pregnant moms and their children in crisis. It is a place of encouragement and support where residents learn crucial parenting and life skills. During their stay, these women are prepared for independent, successful living as good parents and providers for their children.   

• 
  Pregnancy and Parenting Education: Equipping moms and dads with the tools for healthy child development, financial stability, and strong family foundations, all while sharing the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

• 
  Benevolence Program: We assist families by providing essential baby items, including diapers, formula, and clothing, among other necessities. Every one of these items is a gift made possible by generous partners, and every item we give reminds a mom: you are not alone.
