Project, Inc.

Project, Inc. provides long-term employment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The pride and dignity experienced with having a job transform the lives of the individuals who work here. They feel a part of society with the economic worthiness a job provides, and they find friends in their days at Project, Inc. Further, the impact extends to the families of those who work here, in that they are given a choice to enter the workforce if their loved one is working and not at home.
Due to the disabilities of those whom we serve, we require extra supervisory staff who can guide the workers down the learning curve for each job. We provide a nurturing environment so that the workers are challenged by the various jobs to which they are assigned, but never frustrated. Our workers can perform all sorts of jobs for various industries, including food and pharmaceutical packaging/inspection tasks in our FDA/USDA Certified Clean Room. We have approximately 100 certified workers, are actively hiring from our waitlist, and have partnered with over 200 St. Louis businesses.
