PS 124 Is Celebrating 125 Years — Help Us Raise $12,500!

PS 124 is a vibrant, diverse Title 1 school and a place where young minds from various cultural backgrounds come together to learn and grow. More than half of our students live in temporary housing, including many who have recently arrived in the United States. 

PS 124’s commitment to nurturing each child extends beyond textbooks. We offer art and music classes, a dual-language program supporting English language learners, and robust Social Emotional Learning (SEL) initiatives for students and staff. We create a welcoming environment where families come together and help one another.

To continue providing our students and their families the resources they need to flourish, the PS 124 PTA is launching a campaign to raise $12,500. Funds will be used for:

- Enrichment programs, including theater and dance

- Field trips

- Back to School Carnival, Spring Festival, and other school-wide events

- Classroom grants for projects that enrich learning

- Fifth grade and kindergarten graduation ceremonies

In addition to helping to fund enrichment programs and community-building events, the PTA supports English language classes for parents, food distributions, clothing and book swaps, diaper distributions, and informational sessions connecting families with outside local resources. 

Your generosity can make a significant impact on the lives of our students. Any contribution – from $1.25 to $1,250 – is appreciated and will be put to good use.
