Pure Religion

The purpose of Pure Religion is to support and assist orphaned, abandoned, abused, and neglected children in East Texas and abroad. As well, grace emBEDded, a ministry of Pure Religion exists to provide beds and bedding to children facing placement in the foster care system.

Over the 7-year period of Pure Religion's existence, the Pure Religion organization has impacted over 800 children facing the certainty of foster care in Smith county by providing a bed in the midst of a child's removal by CPS through our grace emBEDded ministry. This model has begun to reach beyond the borders of Smith county and is being replicated by other groups of caring individuals in surrounding counties and in other states across our nation. grace emBEDed beds have also met the needs of children in Eastern Europe and most recently, Africa.

In addition, Pure Religion has funded and staffed our Make a Difference for Moldova children's camps in the former Soviet country of Moldova. Our awesome team of volunteers has developed and implemented a vibrant, week-long VBS camp for orphaned and abandoned children while simultaneously conducting a training camp for families and individuals called to foster or adopt these forgotten children. Our desire is to develop the financial capacity to continue to fund these revolutionary and life-changing opportunities for years to come.
