Testimonials

I joined the Robert Burns Society in September of 2018, and it is truly one of the hidden gems of the Midlands! There is a wealth of history and culture within this organization to experience and appreciate. Everyone I've met in the group is extremely welcoming and willing to help newbies, like me, learn more about Scottish culture. Another great thing about this group is that there is no requirement to have Scottish heritage or to know much about Celtic culture; it's all about learning, performing, and appreciating art with a community of friends. - Corrine Reed

Having dabbled in Scottish drumming in my Atlanta days, I was looking for more in the same vein and discovered the Robert Burns Society of the Midlands. Their close affiliation with the Palmetto Pipes and Drums led me to a 20 year journey full of piping and drumming, Highland games, and other Scottish celebrations in the Carolinas and Georgia. - Danny Skinner
