 Friends of the Rappahannock Library

The Friends of the Rappahannock County Library (FOL) supports the library with funds for special programming and facility improvements that enrich the lives of county residents and library patrons of all ages! Last fiscal year the library welcomed more than 1,400 attendees at popular library programs such as Petting Zoos, Live Music, Author Events, a Seed Swap, and more.  Nearly 11,000 wireless users enjoyed free, fast Internet on the library's reliable network, and many received technology help from an FOL sponsored on-site technology assistant.

               Looking toward the Future

As library circulation, patron visits, program participation and meeting room usage continue to rise, the FOL is excited to support facility improvement through a future expansion and renovation project that will welcome all in an accessible library that allows for more meeting and activity space, a lively children's area, and a dedicated space for young adults. We aim to help the library improve their facilities and expand their programming, services, and offerings for all to enjoy with your generous donation. Please help the FOL raise funds to support Rappahannock County Library programs and projects by donating via Give Local Piedmont before Tuesday, May 14 at midnight!

Each $10 + donation from a separate email address from 6 a.m.-7 a.m. can help us win the Rise & Shine Power Hour $1000 prize!
