RE Centers of Arizona Inc

A nonprofit organization

The RE:center is a community resource center started by the local church body, theCHURCH of Arizona. Our team provides survival assistance for those looking to stabilize a shaky foundation. To become resilient community members, our team encourages clients to move into our Thrive Services through mentorship programs, healthy relationships, and continuing education.

OUR STRATEGY
COMMUNITY BARRIERS: We tackle community barriers by gathering relevant data, engaging our community, presenting, and petitioning for solutions in our community.
COMMUNITY RESOURCE NAVIGATION: Our knowledgeable team assists community members in finding the confidence to discover the resources they need to meet their goals.
COMMUNITY MENTORSHIP: Through programs, we pair participants with trained mentors to inspire change and offer emotional, social, and spiritual support.
COMMUNITY CONNECTION POINT: The RE:center is a hub for our community partners to provide wrap-around services in a central location.

Testimonials

In June 2023, Laura* triumphantly graduated from our Mama Mentorship Program. During her transformative journey, she found solace in the RE:center's transitional recovery housing, emerging as a beacon of resilience for herself and her two children; inspired by this newfound stability, she courageously embarked on a path of education, enrolling in college and actively pursuing her dreams through online classes.

Troy* was riding his bike one day and stopped at a gas station, needing help. He had no money, and they refused him water. He passed out on the side of the street from dehydration. A good samaritan came to his aid and offered Troy water. Relieved, Troy took the water bottle. As he drank, the friendly stranger asked him, "Are you done living this way?" The good samaritan continued, "You need to go to the RE:center. They will love on you." When Troy walked through the door, the RE:center team did just that. Troy received a hot shower, food (for him and his dog), and clothing. The RE:center helped him with job searches and resource navigation. Troy eventually enrolled in one of our mentorship programs; he is now attending Getting Ahead class and working to reach his goals with his mentor.
