Redefine Mentorship

Redefine Mentorship's mission is to empower and uplift the youth of New Orleans by providing holistic mentoring solutions that address systemic challenges, foster personal growth, promote academic achievement, and encourage active community engagement.Through our holistic mentoring programs, we aim to break down systemic barriers and empower youth to become confident, resilient, and socially conscious individuals who actively contribute to their communities. We envision a society where every young person has equal opportunities to succeed and make an impact in their community.

Redefine Mentorship began as a mentoring initiative under the Louisiana-based nonprofit Pink Nails Inc., a female-led organization committed to advancing young women of New Orleans. Over the past 10 years, our mentoring model has proven effective in creating lasting change, and it has since evolved and expanded to serve youth across multiple in-school and community programs.

Pink Nails (All Girls) - School Program
These empowering mentoring cohorts are hosted during school enrichment hours or as after-school programs. Our curriculum focuses on teaching vital life skills-helping young girls build confidence, resilience, and essential tools for success in their personal and academic lives.

Believe Communities - Community Group Program
These dynamic mentoring cohorts take place in community facilities, bringing together young people in a nurturing, supportive environment. Focused on relational instruction and cultural enrichment, these programs deepen the teachings from the school-based programs, fostering a sense of belonging and community.
