Restore St. Charles

RSC volunteers provide a helping hand to neighbors-in-need by making needed home repairs/improvements. We make it possible for our aging and disabled neighbors to live independently and safely at home.  We helped 68 unique families in 2023.

Our projects include building customized stairs or ramps, installing grab bars, making plumbing repairs, painting, improving weatherization, doing yard work and much more.  All materials are funded by donations.  You can help us achieve our goal of $1250 to buy lumber for one typical wheelchair ramp.  We built 20 customized wheelchair ramps or stairs last year.

RSC welcomes and engages new and experienced volunteers on the third Saturday every month.  They work alongside experienced project leaders to improve the quality of life of neighbors-in-need. In 2023, we engaged 65 first-time volunteers out of 110 in total.  They worked 2250 hours in total. 

 RSC restores the lives, hopes and faith of residents by building caring relationships and strong communities.
