Rhonda's Another Chance, Inc.

A nonprofit organization

$270 raised by 4 donors

January 1, 2000, started the journey of Rhonda’s Another Chance, a transitional home for homeless women located in West Louisville. The home is named in memory of my sister, Rhonda Mason-Brown, who lost her battle with alcoholism in 1992.

The mission of Rhonda’s Another Chance is to:

  • PROVIDE transitional housing for women with guidance towards life-style changes and self-sufficiency.
  •  OFFER referral services to women in our community who requests assistance.
  • COLLABORATE with local community nonprofits.

Higher education is a key opportunity for women. On September 21, 2024, we will celebrate our 6th Transition to College Scholarship Celebration. Any woman living in the Kentuckiana area who has experienced homelessness may apply for a $1,000 tuition-free scholarship to an accredited college.
