River Region Chamber of Commerce Foundation Inc.

To develop, sponsor and provide educational programs and information regarding the political system, history, strengths, weaknesses, problems, potential and current issues pertaining to the River Parishes area and the State of Louisiana, including the presentation of perspectives of centrally involved individuals and objective observers; and develop and foster a high level of civic concern, community development and activity on the part of participants in any Foundation program.

With a mission to Grow, Strengthen & Unify Businesses in St. James, St. John & St. Charles Parishes, the River Region Chamber provides businesses of all sizes a multitude of valuable resources to enhance their growth, exposure and opportunity. We are proud to be in our 3rd Year of Leadership River Region and look forward to this program growing more and more in years to come. In addition, we'd like to focus on additional training opportunities for small businesses to help them strive during these times. We would also like to be able to develop additional marketing for Shop Local efforts. Another key component of our work is Workforce Development. It is imperative to understand the needs of our workforce today, amidst a pandemic and be able to be the conduit with our local school systems and businesses to ensure open lines of communication are in place.
