Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas (RMHC CTX) is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and families. Guiding us in our mission are our core values: We lead with compassion, We focus on the critical needs of children, We celebrate the diversity of our people and programs, We value our heritage, We operate with accountability and transparency.

The Central Texas Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms provide a comforting sanctuary that keeps them in close proximity to their critically ill or injured children. Our Happy Wheels Carts stroll the hospital hallways bringing complimentary items to families waiting by their child's hospital bedsides. RMHC CTX also supports families who have lost a child through the Healing Hearts program, which provides financial assistance for burial services and bereavement support.

In 2015, we launched Ronald McDonald House Charities programming in the Brazos Valley. With two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in local hospitals and three Happy Wheels Carts strolling the halls, we serve local families from all seven counties across the Brazos Valley. All RMHC CTX programs in the Brazos Valley operate year-round to ensure that we are there when families need support.

Through the caring support of our community we are able to carry out the mission of RMHC CTX. We rely on our strong relationship with the medical community to provide access to health care.
