Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis provides comfort, care and a home-away-from-home to families of seriously ill children. The three St. Louis Ronald McDonald Houses provide families who live 50 miles or more away from St. Louis with lodging and all of the comforts of home at little to no cost. The Ronald McDonald Houses serve approximately 400 families each year. Additionally, Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis operates three Ronald McDonald Family Rooms. These special rooms are located inside three local pediatric hospitals: Mercy Children's Hospital, St. Louis Children's Hospital and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. An oasis located just steps away from a child's hospital room, each Family Room provides both local and out-of-town families with a comfortable place to relax, complimentary snacks and beverages, showers, laundry facilities, TV, and Internet - all free-of-charge.
