Rocky Run Fire Company

Rocky Run Fire Company provides emergency services to Middletown Township & its surrounding communities in Delaware County and Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Our primary district covers the 13.5 square miles that is Middletown Township, the 3rd largest municipality in Delaware County. Together with Middletown Fire Company, we provide full time, 100% volunteer coverage which saves residents thousands of dollars every year.

In addition to our primary coverage area, our tower ladder (Tower 46) has primary response areas in Edgmont Township, Concord Township, and Thornbury Township. We also provide mutual aid assistance on a regular basis to the Townships of Aston, Upper Providence, Upper Chichester, and Chadds Ford.

Rocky Run Fire Company responds to approximately 700 fire emergencies every year and an additional 1600 medical emergencies.  We respond not only to fires, but also auto accidents, hazardous materials incidents, homeland security incidents, BLS EMS calls, EMS assists, public assists, and the occasional cat in a tree.

Rocky Run Fire Company is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  While our firefighters are 100% volunteer we do have a small paid team of EMTs.  In addition to all the training involved, members spend countless hours providing fire prevention education, community activities, and fundraising.
