Ruffled Feathers Parrot Sanctuary

Ruffled Feathers Parrot Sanctuary takes in unwanted parrots and provides them with a home, vet care and love. We also rescue injured, orphaned or sick sparrows, and starlings.

In the past two years, we have rescued over 100 birds, including parrots, pigeons, starlings and sparrows. We have successfully released pigeons, starlings and sparrows back into the wild after raising those that came in as orphans, and mending those that came in with broken wings. The parrots who have been surrendered to the sanctuary have received veterinarian care, been given an improved diet, and are being treated for chronic feather picking disorders, and other disabilities.
