Runnin' W Wildlife Center INC.

Runnin' W Wildlife Center is the only facility in Northern Arizona, providing rehabilitation for the mammals and birds of the area, as well as educational outreach programs that we provide through the Sedona Natural History society and Forest Service.

Runnin' W Wildlife Center was created with the goal of being an environmental educational focus point within the community of the Verde Valley. A platform where children and their families can learn about the wildlife in our world as they meander through gardens planted with native vegetables and fruit. Environmental sciences and technologies are shown through actual application such as solar and rain water collection.
We also provide rehabilitation for injured mammals and birds ranging in size from hummingbirds to bald eagles for re-release into the wild. Our goal is to instill in children the understanding of living in harmony with our world and the rewards in doing so. We run our facility in the fashion of guided tours and provide small classes throughout the summer ranging from animal care to horticulture. By following this method we hope to create in our own small way a better world in which to live.
