The Sacramento Valley Section (SVS) was chartered June 8, 1972 under the leadership of Bettye O. For several years, SVS has raised operating funds through the events:

2. Christian Women of the Year Luncheon;
3. Women of Grace Tea; and
4. Restricted funds for the Children of Promise Conference (COP).
Each event targets a specific mission to offer tools, information, and celebrates the service of local leaders who serve the community. Additional programs include, Hats on to Dr. Dorothy I.
