Sacred Heart Church needs rectory floors & bathroom repairs due to sinking and slanting floors with rotting support beams.
Sacred Heart has been a staple for the South Lafourche community for decades, serving hundreds of families locally. As we prepare to minister to our community for the upcoming generations, we need to provide a safe rectory for our priests, staff employees, and parishioner visitors.
Currently, there are many soft spots in the rectory hallway floors, priest living quarters, and hall bathroom due to rotting support beams and moisture issues in the rectory pier and beam structure. Years of poor ventilation and moisture entrapment have caused the support beams to rot and the floors are sinking and slanting resulting in safety issues.
The hall bathroom will be gutted and converted to a half-bath with toilet and pedestal sink.

Who We Are
We would like to recover the kneelers in Church. We have had many complaints about how uncomfortable the kneelers are so we would very much like to remedy this situation for our parishioners.
