Support the Youth of St. Joseph Parish: Creating a Comfortable Space for Growth

St. Joseph Parish has a rich history rooted in the development of Louisville’s Butchertown neighborhood. In 1866, Bishop Martin John Spalding established the parish to serve the growing community of Catholic German-speaking families who needed a place to call their own. Over 150 years later, our parish remains a welcoming home to families of all backgrounds, including a vibrant Hispanic Latino community.

This summer, St. Joseph began a new chapter with the creation of our youth group, serving 16-19 students in grades 6-12. The goal is to nourish their faith and help them grow in a supportive, vibrant community. We are blessed to have this historic church as a space for these young people to grow in love for our Catholic faith.

To help foster a welcoming and comfortable environment for our youth, we are raising funds to furnish their gathering space. From cozy couches to tables for discussion and weekly snacks, these simple comforts help create the kind of environment where young people can truly thrive.

How You Can Help:

Your donation will help us furnish the youth room and create a welcoming space for our young people to gather, learn, and grow in faith.

Every gift, big or small, will make a difference in shaping the space where our youth can deepen their faith and build lasting friendships. Your donation will go directly toward creating a welcoming, comfortable environment for these young Catholics as they learn, grow, and serve together.

Thank you for supporting the future of St. Joseph Parish. Together, we can invest in the youth who will carry our Catholic faith into the future.

Donate today and be a part of this important mission.
