Scott-Farrar at Peterborough

A nonprofit organization

$7,715 raised by 26 donors

Last year Scott-Farrar celebrated 115 years and its ongoing mission; to operate as a charitable non-profit and assist those Scott-Farrar residents who have outlived their assets to stay in their Scott-Farrar home. This mission is unique in today’s healthcare world where residents would typically move to a nursing home and apply for Medicaid if their funds were exhausted.

Demographics are changing rapidly and seniors are living considerably longer and healthier lives. As a consequence, our residents could potentially be faced with financial hardship. To assist these residents, Scott-Farrar accepts donations to the Jennie Scott Legacy Fund.

The Scott-Farrar Board of Trustees view the Jennie Scott Legacy Fund as a heartfelt way to assist our residents and hope you will too. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation that directly supports those in our community who want to stay in their Scott-Farrar home after their funds have been depleted.

“Our family would like to thank the Scott-Farrar Home and the Board Members for the generous financial support for our mother. We deeply appreciate the opportunity to have Mom remain in the Scott-Farrar community and enjoy the care and friendly environment provided. Thank you for working with us as we navigated this experience and thank you for enabling us to provide the best care and home for our Mom.” - Daughter of Current Fund Recipient
