SouthEastern Arizona Community Unique Services (SEACUS) Meals on Wheels

To improve the quality of life of mature adults in Graham and Greenlee Counties through education & activity, advocacy, family caregiver support, and quality compassionate care. Our vision is that every aging community member will have the option of growing old in the comfort and safety of their own homes.

SEACUS provides support to over 300 seniors in Graham in Greenlee Counties. We provide services such as Meals on Wheels, shopping and meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal care. We support caregivers by providing in-home respite, home modifications and repairs, purchasing adaptive aides, and offering education for families. We encourage continued community engagement & activities through our Senior Activities Centers. Our Meals on Wheels employees and volunteers show up daily at 6 am to prepare fresh hot meals using whole foods. The Meals on wheels program is not just nutrition. the Meals on Wheels program insures a safety check, and a friendly smile for our participants; many of whom report the Meals on Wheels drivers are often the only people they see.

90% of our Meals on Wheels participants state their meals enable them to continue living in their homes. One recipient states "The meals are a lifesaver because I can't get around to cook". One senior volunteer states she gives their time to SEACUS because it gives her purpose.
