At Seeds of Hope, we greatly appreciate every donation made to help the children we serve each year.
We could not continue our success year after year without the generosity of donors like you.
"I came to the United States as a refugee when I was 6 years old. My family fled Sudan and stayed at a camp in Kenya-it was a horrible place. It was a desert, and there wasn't enough food. Everyone around us was suffering. We were taken under the wing of a church in Colorado once we arrived. My mom wanted me to have a Catholic education and discovered Annunciation School. Thanks to a scholarship through Seeds of Hope, I enrolled in fifth grade. That was my hardest year. My English was terrible. It was frustrating because I like to talk. The teachers worked one-on-one with me and I stayed after school. It helped a lot. I still talk with my teachers and two of my best friends who I met there. It shows how much of an impact it had on me. I love school. I was accepted to the University of Notre Dame on a full ride scholarship through the Daniels Fund. I'm so excited. I had a difficult childhood, but I'm really happy about the experience I had at Annunciation."

"I consider Annunciation School my second home. It's a part of my family. I went to school there and after I graduated from the University of Denver, I came back to teach. It wouldn't have been possible without Seeds of Hope. My parents both came from Mexico. My dad worked in the fields after 5th grade because his family was poor. But they valued an education. Through a scholarship with Seeds of Hope, I was able to receive a Catholic education. I learned values at Annunciation that I've kept with me all these years, like the importance of hard work, perseverance, integrity, gratitude and giving back. Now I teach my students the same values I learned at the school. I tell them they can accomplish great things. I have a special connection and history with families at the school. When donors visit, I really want them to see the impact on students just like me. My life has come full circle. I'm grateful to Seeds of Hope."
