The Sharing Shed

The Sharing Shed helps over 250 families begin a new life each year. These families are fleeing abusive situations, recovering from homelessness, living with disabilities, victims of fires and floods, struggling with mental health concerns, or impoverished. We serve them with dignity and strive to meet their physical needs as well as bring hope and encouragement for a better tomorrow. We recieve donations from individuals. We sort, clean and organize these donations into a display-like setting where clients can choose the items they need to furnish their home. Families are referred to us through qualifing churches, organizations, and social service agencies. We see clients by appointment only. All items are given to these families at no cost. The Sharing Shed is supported by the local community, with over 50 volunteers serving each month. We have been serving our community since 2015 from our new location in O'Fallon Missouri
