Our organization's experience and success to date with similar projects (most are annual) along with trainings on how to identify if someone you know is in a tramatic situation:

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month: we held weekly meetings for individuals dealing with assault. 2 classes a week: one for women and children and 1 for men

For the entire year we continue to assist families with food due to loss of income. We partner with other local organization to help families and/or individuals who need emergency help with food and clothes. Its an ongoing thing that happens when a call comes in and/or notified thru social media.

July 2023 we did a toiletries drive for the homeless women, men and children in need. Each year we continue to add the following items: nonperishable foods like: granola bars, fruit cups, bottle of water, pop tops of raviolis, spaghetti and beefaronis and chips along with cutlery.

August we assisted with providing school supplies (2nd year partnering) for the back to school drive with the Eau Claire parents and teachers. We provided over 600 notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, ruled paper, markers, scissors, glue sticks and book bags. This also helped with an event called Kicking it with Dads for their cookout for kids going back to school. It was to bring fathers out to spend time with their kids.

October 2023 was the 8th annual purple gala to bring awareness to domestic violence and with this event we helped 68 individuals who were in need of getting away from their perpetrator. Also assisted 39 men and women who dealth with sexual assault and human trafficking.

November 2023 for Thanksgiving (2nd year partnering) we partnered with The Black Project Foundation, L4L Unlimited, Perception Studios, and Rooted Vibrationz to collect non-perishable items to create thanksgiving baskets for people in the Richland Community. We collected over 1,000 items and were able to create 106 baskets families which fed around 781 individuals. Provided $15 gift cards for each basket for meat of choice.
