Clinton Area Showboat Theatre

The Clinton Area Showboat Theatre has been showcasing professional theatre for more than thirty years. One of only three professional, union theatre companies in all of Iowa, CAST is the preeminent theatre company in the region, employing actors, directors and designers from around the country. We are in residence at one of the iconic symbols of the community at the center Riverview Park.

The center of our educational programming is our Deckhand Company, which immerses teens from the region with an interest in the performing arts in classes and full productions presented adjacent to our professional programs. The Deckhand Company is provided mentorships by professional artists and opportunities for pre-professional and pre-college masterclasses and workshops. Weeklong workshops are available to young people of all ages.
