SAFFORD HIGH SCHOLARSHIP & EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

The SHS Foundation's main purpose is to generate dollars to provide scholarships to assist students in continuing their education.

Dollars donated to the SHS Scholarship Foundation are conservatively invested and the principal is never spent. Earnings from the investments are the dollars the Foundation utilizes to provide SHS graduates with scholarships. With the earnings being distributed to the 2016 graduates, the SHS Foundation will have offered more than $500,000 since its inception in 1988. The Foundation provides other services for the alumni of SHS such as providing class lists for class reunions. The Foundation maintains a database of alumni and assists classes in locating classmates when they have a class reunions, by supplying information. The Foundation also maintains a Facebook account that has proved to be extremely valuable in communicating with our Bulldog family. This proved true during our last All Bulldog Reunion in Oct. 2015.
