Signature Healthcare Foundation provides various programs to promote transparency, education, and affordability of healthcare through healthy patient and physician relationships. We envision a world where patients are actively engaging in their health and healthcare, partnering with physicians who have the power and ability to direct it. Our programs include:

Operation Family Help
Operation Family Help provides much-needed financial assistance to families in medical crises, particularly in the St. Louis region. When health insurance does not cover essential healthcare needs for families, Operation Family Help completely covers or supplements the cost by providing up to $500 in emergency assistance.

Toolkit for Patients
We developed a Toolkit for Patients to help patients navigate their healthcare with increased understanding and transparency. The toolkit touches on understanding your healthcare bill, insurance coverage, comparing costs, doctor ratings and so much more.

Educational Support
The Management Internship Program is designed to develop leaders who can effect change in the healthcare system through an understanding of physician perspectives. Interns benefit by gaining an understanding of the unique management challenges posed in private physician practices, as well as gaining an appreciation for the need to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of health care delivery. This is executed by partnering with institutions of higher learning to provide internships to MBA, Health Care Administration, or other appropriate graduate degree program candidates. These interns are provided the opportunity to experience unique management challenges and issues through guided internships at physician offices.

Senator Paul Simon Award
The Senator Paul Simon Award honors individuals and institutions that have demonstrated creative and effective cost-savings strategies in healthcare and increased business efficiency. This program is centered around innovative methods that enable health care providers to decrease costs without sacrificing quality and share these approaches so other providers can benefit.
