Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope for low-income families. We also make critical repairs on the homes of low-income seniors, veterans and people with disabilities.

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that makes homeownership possible for low-income working families. The Smith County affiliate was formed in 1989. In the past 35 years, HFHSC has partnered with local volunteers and donors to build over 120 homes. Through its home repair program, Habitat has completed over 2,100 critical repair projects, making it possible for veterans, seniors and people with disabilities to remain safely in their homes.
