The Southern California Brass Consortium (SCBC) was founded in 2013 with the goal of sharing the exhilarating spirit of brass ensemble music through concerts, recordings, and educational outreach. We specialize in performing new compositions and new arrangements in a range of styles from local and national composers, highlighting the majesty of brass and percussion, while often featuring harp, piano, and organ. SCBC is currently made of up of 26 professional brass players and percussionists, many of whom arrange and compose original music for the group.
