The Mission of Social Bridges Incorporated (SBI) is to pioneer opportunities for underserved communities to help as they prepare for the changes and challenges of globalization in the local environment. SBI is accomplishing this by connecting knowledge and understanding of diverse cultures and fostering health awareness in collaboration with educational stakeholders, non-profit organizations, faith-based community organizations, businesses, and government agencies.

Our vision is to give students (primary focus: Toddlers-12th graders) an opportunity to experience and become immersed in global languages and global cultures, right here in New Orleans. SBI key programs are called Project Connect and Project T.A.L.K. (Toddlers Acquiring Language(s) Knowledge). Both projects are designed to enrich the social skills of children by engaging them in a program of cultural diversity. These programs will give children the opportunity to experience the customs, music, food, dance, arts, history, celebrations, and language of either Spanish or French. These programs will also begin to initiate an openness to and an appreciation for other cultures. Our programs provide age-appropriate material, games, songs, and enjoyable activities that will keep children engaged and curious to want to learn more. Sign language is also available.
