Society of Saint Vincent De Paul Saint Joseph Conference

The Society of Saint Vincent DePaul, St. Joseph Conference began in 1997, following the parish's interest in developing a social concerns committee. Instead, the group voted to become a SVDP conference to allow for a more direct, "hands-on" organization to assist those in need located in Clark County, KY. The first annual budget was approximately $2,500 that was funded by bake sales and garage sales. Over the years, our conference has grown to 57 volunteers with an annual budget of $97,000. We work relentlessly to support the needs of our community. Our resilience over the past 26 years has been the overall measure of success in our conference by reaching out, standing up, and loving those who come to us. We offer a food pantry, assistance programs (rent, utilities, medical, and transportation), along with household and baby needs, among other offerings to those in need. We value our faith and our belief that we are truly making a difference in our community and strive to assist anyone coming to us for help.
