Programs:

1. Music Restores - Audio and Visual Therapeutic Sessions available to those suffering with Cognitive Disorders.
2. Music Programs - Provides musical performances to Seniors & those with Special Challenges at various Senior Centers & Assisted Living Facilities in the 5 County Area served by RRCSB.
3. Caregivers Group - Provides a safe & nurturing environment, for caregivers of patients suffering with Cognitive Disorders, to receive support, encouragement & resources.
4. Instrument Bank - Supplies families in need with instruments to help Children gain acceptance into a Band or Music Programs.

I have been a Hospice Support volunteer in Fauquier County for two years. My assignments have been to the memory unit at Brookside Nursing home. It has been my pleasure to see the residents respond to your gift of music on Tuesday mornings. There is a palpable change in energy when you arrive. Residents who are usually withdrawn or distracted focus on the music. Some residents who are typically non-verbal join in on familiar hymns and popular songs. On days that instruments are available, the residents enthusiastically make a joyful noise with tambourines, bells, clappers, and castanets.
