Southbury Ambulance is a non-profit 501 © (3) organization, certified by the State of Connecticut.

The entire SAA Board of Directors are Volunteers from the community.

We are continually adapting to state regulations, ever-increasing operational costs, updating state mandated equipment and medical supplies.

100% of the money donated will go
towards upgrading our current equipment and purchasing new equipment to better serve our community. Below are a few life-saving items that are used on a daily basis on most 9-1-1 call. PLEASE DONATE - HELP SAVE LIVES

EMS equipment is extremely expensive. Your donations will offset the day-to-day expenses of running an independent non-profit business. 

SAA is your primary medical emergency 9-1-1 responder.

Our mission is to provide high quality medical care
and emergency transport, perhaps saving a life but ALWAYS making a difference in one.

We respond to over 4000
calls a year, covering ALL 40 square miles of Southbury: population 20,000.

SAA maintains its principal location at 68 Georges Hill Road in Southbury, a branch station in
Heritage Village, a fleet of 6 ambulances with state-of-the-art equipment staffed with professional, compassionate and qualified crews.

Our
volunteer/paid crews are here for you 24/7 365 days a year with multiple crews at
a time inclusive with in-house paramedics. They are a diverse group in age and demographics united in their desire to serve in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
