Southwind Fields

Southwind Fields provides supportive independence services to adults with special needs. Our “Locals” are what are often referred to as “in-betweeners” who frequently denied or fall through the cracks of available disability services. They do not require group home level care, but do require assistance to maintain as much independence as possible. Because they fall into this overlooked category, they are at a drastically heightened risk of homeless, abuse, and severe exploitation. 

At Southwind, we provide supportive services to include housing and employment assistance, but most importantly, we provide community. Our Locals understand that it’s not just about work and paying bills, it’s about belonging to something.
