Spotty Dog Rescue, Inc.

Spotty Dog Rescue is a 100% volunteer-run dog rescue organization. Our mission is to provide safe harbor, medical care and love for adoptable dogs that have been abused, abandoned and neglected until they are placed into loving, responsible permanent homes. To decrease the need for senseless destroying of dogs by educating the public about the benefits of spaying and neutering. To build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness. To promote respect for life, responsible pet ownership and to encourage the higher ideals of compassion toward animals and people through education and example. We are a "Rescue without Borders" and we rescue dogs in need regardless of where they were born.

Who We Are

Spotty Dog Rescue is a foster-based dog rescue organization. We are 100% volunteer-run and all of our dogs are housed in loving foster homes until they find their forever homes. We strive to make the perfect match for each dog and for the adoptive family so everyone can live happily ever after. Our organization is a "rescue without borders". We rescue dogs locally, as well as from our partner shelters on the islands of St. Thomas and St. Croix and from high-kill shelters in the southern U.S. We believe that every dog's life is important, regardless of where they were born. All of our dogs are fully-vetted and we go to great lengths to ensure that those dogs with extraordinary medical conditions get the quality veterinary care they need and deserve.
