St. Albert the Great Parish

Each day St. Al's strives to bring the Gospel to as many students as possible. Our six FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) missionaries on campus increase our outreach exponentially! Every year the FOCUS organization puts on a national conference, called SEEK, which invites students from across the country to join in faith-building fellowship and community. This year we will be taking our students, along with students from LSSU and NMU, to SEEK 2024 in St. Louis, MO!

Desiring to bring as many students as possible, we offer $250 scholarships across the board to any student attending the conference, as well as cover all transportation costs. We are well on our way to filling three busses! The money raised on Giving Tuesday will go directly towards creating SEEK scholarships and covering transportation costs. Making SEEK affordable means students who might not have been able to come can experience this unique encounter with community, the Gospel, vocations, and the love of God.

A few weeks ago, during our St. Al's giving day (Nov. 15), we raised a significant amount of money needed to support the SEEK24 trip. On this Giving Tuesday, we are hoping to raise an additional $5,000 due to very strong registration and recruitment numbers for the conference.
