Our Mission

St. James parish is established to be a sign of the presence of the Kingdom of God, to spread the Good News of the Gospel and to minister and serve others.  As Catholics we believe in Jesus' dying and rising and in our call to celebrate the Sacraments and proclaim the Gospel.

Our Focus

March 28th St. James embarked on a goal to raise $108,850 to complete major expenses incurred through our capital improvements during this past fiscal year along side the renovations of the new Kearney Catholic High School sports complex.  As always, our parish thrives because of the generosity and sacrifice of our parishioners.  Giving feels good when we use our resources to express our values.
