Serving students on the campuses of Illinois State University, Illinois Wesleyan University and Heartland Community College, the St. John Paul II Catholic Newman Center exists to foster, develop and strengthen a student's personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Since the late 1950's this Newman Center has been a home to countless students who desired to live their lives rooted in the Gospel and to follow the Lord in whatever Vocation He may have called them to live. This community has seen the beginning of countless of holy marriages as well as many religious and priestly vocations. The St. John Paul II Newman Center offers a place of welcome for all students who are trying to navigate the most impactful moments of their lives to date, and through the Sacramental life of the Church, offers an encounter with the unconditional love and mercy of God.
