We are St. Thomas More Newman Center. Our mission is to be the Roman Catholic campus ministry for The Ohio State University where all can develop and live their Catholic faith.

We build a transformative faith community that shapes current and future leaders for the Church and society by introducing, deepening and living the faith.

We are a ministry of the Paulist Fathers, and our community is made up of OSU students, faculty and staff as well as a vibrant resident community who choose to worship here and partner in our mission.

IMPACTFUL RETREAT EXPERIENCE

In the summer of 2009, seven Buckeye Catholics traveled to Texas A&M to experience Aggie Awakening #86. They returned, inspired to bring this impactful student-led weekend retreat experience to Columbus. In the fall of 2009, they led the first ever Buckeye Awakening. In the past 10 years the program has grown and flourished. We've had 24 Buckeye Awakening retreat weekends, impacting more than 1,500 students! This retreat program has become a staple of our campus ministry. It serves as a gateway to deeper involvement in Newman Center ministries, awakens the faith, and builds community relationships.
