Stage Right!

Stage Right! builds a culturally engaged community through performing arts education and advocacy. We are a catalyst for personal creative expression and character development, with a focus on professionals mentoring young performers. Our diverse, multidisciplinary initiatives provide a positive and supportive environment that improves the quality of life for the communities they serve.

Beginning our 19th year, Stage Right! has meant so much to so many people throughout the years. Our classes have given countless students the opportunity to grow and experience and live out their dreams. Our programs teach the skills necessary to compete in the world of Musical Theatre, but also give the students basic self esteem building and confidence no matter what field the students pursues. We offer challendgin classes and so many opportunities for students to experience the stage and world of performing. We pride ourselves in the professionalism of all our students. Stage Right! Spectrum Theatre Initiative offers students on the spectrum the opportunity to bring out their performing skills and gives them a showcase for performances. These students are also mentored by our senior students providing a one-on-one match during their classes. Stage Right! services ages 4-18, with classes in voice, acting, tap, jazz, ballet and musical theatre workshop. Stage Right! Theatre Company offers top-notch professional theatre and employs 20-25 Equity actors per season, in addition to college actors and other local professionals. Our new season for 2017-2018 will feature an Extraordinary Season including: Disney's The Little Mermaid, The Rocky Horror Show Live, Billy Elliott,the musical, The Christmas Story, The Lion King Jr., Pippin, and Jesus Christ superstar. These production hire many professionals from Westmoreland County as well as set design and builders, and stage crew and lighting professionals. Seasonally Stage Right! productions employees 50-85 people.
