STARC of Louisiana, Inc. is committed to providing a lifetime of Services, Training, Advocacy, Resources and Community connections for individuals with intellectual and developmental disABILITIES.

STARC provides programs for all ages.

EARLY INTERVENTION services are available to children birth to age 3 who have a developmental delay. STARC may, either directly or through employees and/or contracts with qualified professionals who are registered with Early Steps, provide services that include: occupational therapy, speech/language therapy, physical therapy, special instruction, family training and parent workshops.

ADULT DAY PROGRAMS are designed to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disABILITIES (IDD) in acquiring and retaining skills needed to develop independence to the fullest extent of their ABILITIES, in work, socialization, self-help skills, recreation, communication and other interpersonal areas.

SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT SERVICES assists individuals with disABILITIES, 18 years of age or older, to find competitive work in community based integrated work settings.

RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM provides opportunities for individuals to live in family-style homes in neighborhoods throughout St. Tammany Parish. This program provides trained, qualified staff members 24 hours per day/365 days per year.

WAIVER PROGRAM provides home and community based service.
