Step Foundation Inc

The mission of S.T.E.P. Foundation Inc. is to support transgender and at-risk youth in Greater New Orleans. Our goal is to help all young community members succeed through job training and support programs.

Step Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth-both girls and boys-by providing resources, guidance, and opportunities to help them secure jobs, stay off the streets, and lead positive, productive lives. Through mentorship, skills training, and community support, we strive to inspire hope, build confidence, and create a brighter future for the next generation.

Step Foundation has forged successful partnerships with various local businesses to support the growth of our Step Initiative. Our primary goal is to help 100% of the youth in Greater New Orleans find stable employment and develop healthy career habits. Step Foundation has helped 89 young adults find stable employment. We also facilitated the creation of six businesses owned and operated by the youth of Greater New Orleans. These include a cleaning product (Magic John All Purpose Cleaner, owner male 14 years old), two clothing brands (Dream Love Clothing- owner male 18), (Neaux Wave Appearal- owner 21 male), a laundry service (J&J Laundry Services- owner female 17.
