Stepping Stones Learning Center

At Stepping Stones Learning Center, we believe all children deserve quality care and education, regardless of a family's income. SSLC is raising money through The Panhandle Gives campaign to help with monthly classroom costs, including our teachers' lesson and craft supplies, and snack and breakfast items for the children. By raising these funds through donations, we can keep the cost of care affordable for the dozens of families we serve.

Stepping Stones Learning Center ("SSLC") is located at 100 Amaryllis Street in Borger, Hutchinson County, Texas. We are a non-profit early learning center that provides valuable and affordable care for children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K. SSLC serves families that live and/or work in the Borger area, including families from Borger, Fritch, Stinnett, Panhandle, and Skellytown.

From the very beginning, the Board Members of Stepping Stones Learning Center ("SSLC") knew that we wanted to create something special. Not “just” a daycare, but robust learning center with high quality care that was accessible to everyone in the community. The word “learning” is intentionally included in our name, because we want education to be at the center of children’s experience at SSLC.
